Another holiday season, another glorious time spent at Lowe’s Christmas Market!  This year we opted for an afternoon visit, which was a different experience from the evening spot - much more crowded, less twinkly; more cider, less toddy.  The greatest perk however was the stores were open in the Distillery District during the day.  We spent most of our time browsing the unique shops, eating and drinking comfort foods, and getting in the Christmas spirit.  There is a great little tea stall that I enjoy going too - interesting blends of loose-leaf teas, such as pear cream and natural ginger.  There’s also a fun Christmas shop selling Grinch Christmas cards, “A Christmas Story” inspired lamps and other fun knickknacks.

This year they also had live reindeer, who were a little lethargic by nature, but nonetheless intriguing for the kiddies (and myself!).

Hope you are enjoying the holidays all!!
